It’s true. We have a crush. It’s with Coca Cola. Here at PFI, we love Coke. Diet Coke. Coke Zero. Classic Coke. And of course all the free styling combinations now available. You might say we are Coke connoisseurs. While installing throughout the Christmas season, we have lots of Coca Cola around, bringing “ahh” moments to our set ups, take downs, workshops, and design meetings. This year, be sure to see our work at The World of Coke, where we have over 35 red trees that are placed strategically in the Hub and Main Lobby areas. They are beautiful, so be sure to stop and enjoy your holiday time at the World of Coke this year and tell them PFI sent you!
Hunger Walk 2012 in Hotlanta was a huge success, helping raise money for those less fortunate.
PFI participated and was happy to lend a hand! PFI participated and was happy to lend a hand! Each spring it is an anticipated event. PFI joins as the local community unites, and participants enjoy either a 5K walk or 5K “fun run” through downtown Atlanta.
The Hunger Walk/Run brings together thousands of people from a multitude of faith groups, youth groups, school groups, colleges, and corporations, as well as individuals who recruit their friends, families and coworkers to support the effort. The event starts and ends at Turner Field and includes a family-friendly festival atmosphere. We’ll have live music performances (both on the main stage and along the walk/run route), food vendors, sponsor tents, children’s play zone, inflatables, games, educational engagement activities, and more. All for a great cause!
The annual Hunger Walk/Run is an integral fundraising event – supporting hunger and poverty relief throughout metro Atlanta and north Georgia. The event benefits six partner organizations’ efforts to help provide meals and groceries to those less fortunate. Last March, more than 13,000 participants came together to raise over $500,000!
The 84th Academy Awards brought glitz and glamour. Each year Kimberly Oberheu, Chief Marketing Officer, has the opportunity to serve this great gathering of artists through the publicity team.
Every year Kim works for a week prior and during the day of the show on a larger team to insure that all media outlets are being taken care of at the highest level. The publicity team works to be the eyes and ears of the Academy. Being the largest event of its kind in the world, PFI gleans from the experience to take back ideas and execution concepts to our own corporate and executive clients. Not to mention, it is just fun to work with the Academy Awards.
The Artist and Hugo each won five awards, with the former winning Best Picture and its star Jean Dujardin winning Best Actor. The Iron Lady won two awards, including Best Actress for Meryl Streep. The Artist became the first silent motion picture in 83 years (after Wings, which won Best Picture at the 1st Academy Awards) and the first French film to win Best Picture.
